Tie Dye Fun!!!

gosh... are we ever lucky! I feel so lucky to have such amazing friends in our community! such special people... We always come up with fun things to do... fun ways for our kids to grow up together... playing... laughing.... tie dying!!!

Mamma Ashley has had this idea of a tie dye party for such a while now... and finally it happened! she is quite the hostess... all of the fixins for a perfect dye fest!

just letting go and letting the kids squirt the vivid colors every which way is somehow... therapy.... it makes my heart feel light once I let go and let my kids ... be kids... it's great!

here our girl is quite into this... she likes to do projects especially messy ones... she was so proud to see the final product last night... wore her shirt and panties to bed AND to school today! funnnn!

  2. Check out your little fashionista and that pose! Just practicing for the catwalk... Your photography is really beautiful. I love how all these pics have almost a running colour scheme through them - kind of sherbety pastals. Not sure whether that was an accident or intentional, but looks gorgeous...

    I do try to keep most of my photography with a running colour scheme... cool of you to notice... I use photoshop... "Totally Rad" actions a lot of the times... if you have Totally Rad I would love to let you know my recipes...

    as for camera...
    I'm a Nikon girl... D700 and I think I shot these with my 50mm 1.4 ... MY FAVORITE LENS EVER!!! I also love my 70-200!

  5. i do this every year with my kids and always did it at the program i worked for at school each spring as well. fun, kids love it but i think i might just love it even more! :) looks like a great day with friends!
