a day at the zoo is such a great day...

what a nice day we had.... a hot day out in the countryside visiting the zoo... such fun!

Photobucket

we love to just let the girls explore... find fun little hidden pathways... isn't that what childhood is all about... imagine to be a kid again... skipping, running, being so glad to see an ice cream stand or a swing set.... to have your eyes open and your heart free is a lucky life to have.....

Photobucket

I was just sitting so on a bench as the children were playing and this crazy peacock scurried by me and his little feathers nearly touched my leg that's just how close he was...

Photobucket

Isabelle got to ride this little pony all by herself... quite proud of herself.....

Photobucket

I wish I wish I wish for ...... ice cream!

Photobucket

it was so peaceful at the top of the hill... below us were monkeys and lamas and so many wheat fields...

Have you ever watched a wheat field dance in the summer breeze... it almost looks as if it is water swaying like waves of golden pretty...

Photobucket

a sweet little Alpacka ... not sure what they're called in english??

Photobucket

Photobucket

a nice place for a picnic and a nap...

Photobucket

a great wagon to have for the day...

Photobucket

awe.... baby...

Photobucket

wow, even a zebra! a lot of these animals such as the monkeys have been animals which have been tested for medicinal purposes ... so instead of putting them down they transfer them here to live the rest of their lives...

Photobucket

and a great idea for sure... at the end of a hot day of hills and animals we ending with a fun dip in a cool pool... and an ice cream... wishes do come true.....
