a very memorable day...

Photobucket

when I first saw this image I was going to photograph I got the goosebumps... and then when I shot it and saw what I saw... I cried.
sometimes as a photographer when I get "the shot" it gives me chills... tears... it makes me oh so happy and so full of joy... joy to have this memory frozen and beautifully captured. This image how the light was shining so cleaverly through the tree... the dogs were so playful... as most importantly was our little girl.. and you can almost hear the sounds in this shot... quiet peaceful countryside goodness... I must admit this shot... it's the absolute pureness of what childhood should feel like... no cares, no fears, just happiness running free... I love this!!!

the excitement before hopping on the horse..

I love the powerful sound of the rumbling horses stampeeding up the hill.... it's fantastic!

This is Jenny... Jenny & Roger are our other little one's God-parents... Roger is Pappa Mattias' uncle... Jenny is a horse trainer... our little Isabelle adores Jenny and longs to ride horses just like her...

Photobucket

I think we have found something Isabelle really has a passion for... Jenny says she has never seen a kid so young feeling so calm and gentle on a large horse...

and now even Cecilia gets a go.... she giggled the entire time... she thought it was so funny!

Photobucket

the next day we went again... this time Isabelle got to help with the saddle..

Photobucket

and she got to gallop and go by herself pretty much... this is her turning the horse...

  1. oh my goodness! i absolutely love that first photo! wow.
i know i always say that about your photos but it's true, just beautiful!
have you ever talked about your camera, lenses, etc. on here?
i would love to know what you use...although i know that is only a fraction of it, it is really the photographer, their eye and skill and not just their equipment.
    what a wonderful day!
