a little get-away...

the other night over a glass of wine Pappa and I went onto Hotels.com and booked a little two night get-away up to Tampa as a family! It was much needed and well looooved! My God-Parents were celebrating their 40th Wedding Anniversary with a big dinner party... so we planned the whole trip from there...

all of our meals were ate on the balcony! It was fabulous!



we even brought the berries we picked the day before we left.. they were so yummy and such a treat!



ahhhhh a pool.... this is the life!







we basically lived on our balcony and in the pool.... easy breezy Florida life... it's great!









I just sat like so and watched the birds... and watched the water... something about being by the water... it's so calming and it really helps you appreciate where you are....
Sometimes when life gets going and things get busy... you are just going with the flow of things but this trip really helped us slow down a bit and sit and watch the birds and sit by the sea.... it's easy!

Then we went to Busch Gardens for the day before coming home...
